Muji or Ryohin Keikaku Co., Ltd is a Japanese retail company that deals with selling household and consumer goods in wide varieties. The design philosophy of Muji Singapore has always been minimalist and is always aligned to recycling, preventing waste in production and packaging and also a no-brand or no-logo policy.

The name of the company Muji’s is derived from the first part of the name Mujirushi Ryōhin, when translated in English is No-Brand Quality Goods. Nowadays Muji has also opened hotels in Beijing and Shezhen and has newly launched one more in Ginza, Tokyo.
